Element Emerald – Holiday 2011 | Preview

Since the initial release of Element’s more sophisticated lifestyle line, Emerald, the brand has nurtured it into something rather unique amongst its peers in the skateboard lifestyle sector. Although only in existence for under a year, Emerald has seen a noticeable growth in terms of styling and quality with its footwear, but to tack onto that, Element has introduced a complimentary apparel line bearing the same Emerald name. To showcase the new upcoming Holiday 2011 line, Element put on a media preview last week at Saturdays NYC to highlight the goods and now we would like to share some of what we saw. The apparel line consists of a range of pants, denim, tees, french terry sweatshirts, knits and light jackets, which are all in tune with Emerald footwear’s earthy vibe and feel. But, what really stood out, were the upcoming Emerald Elite shoes, which were comprised of a high quality distressed leather upper, which were highlighted by white contrast stitching, beaded accents on the laces and a Native American inspired patterned lining all topped off with a Vibram outsole.
