Nike Sportswear – WMN Air Max 90 Hyperfuse + WMN Dunk High Hyperfuse + WMN Air Feather High Hyperfuse | Preview

One puzzling aspect at last year’s media summit for Nike Basketball was the lack women’s products, specifically those enmeshed with the new Hyperfuse technology. Not wanting to miss the opportunity in the ever growing women sportswear sector, Nike Sportswear designed a series of products for the ladies only. While not a collaboration technically, Nike Sportswear‘s designers put the creative process through the pace as if it was a collaboration. Already with rich resources from the performance aspect, much learned during athlete-specific product development for the likes of Victoria Azarenka and Serena Williams, the designers looked toward streets and everyday styling to see how women wore their kicks through a daily litany of responsibilities. What they came away with were 3 designs, 2 of which are already familiar to many, the Women’s Air Max 90 Hyperfuse and Women’s Dunk High Hyperfuse. The third silhouette is quite new and more recent, the Women’s Air Feather High Hyperfuse, a new rendition on the classic Air Force 1 High. The 3 designs will be the first among many Hyperfuse products to come in the months ahead from Nike Sportswear.
