Star Wars x adidas Originals – Fall/Winter 2010 – Footwear Collection

The Force is still strong with us, as the Empire and the Republic have finally arrived for the new season with adidas Originals. While last season’s collaboration seems more about depicting Star Wars as it is with the Originals canvas, this season, the collaboration seems to have taken a more liberal and sporty turn, as the duo re-imagined the folks of Star Wars as athletes dunking and swinging rackets. The footwear collection corresponds with the apparel, and are quite easily divided into Team Empire and Team Republic. Classic silhouettes such as the Forum Mid and the Nizza high have been remodeled starring different characters such as Chewbacca and the Stormtroopers. Aside from the regular adult line-up, there is also a full collection of children’s sneakers mini-sized from the adult versions. The collection is available now at adidas Originals.
