TAG Heuer Mikrogirder 2000 Watch

While other watch makers are still wrapping their designs around the current industry standard of chronographs capable of regulating watch speeds at 1/1,000 of a second, TAG Heuer has already moved on to create a watch at least two times faster and just as pleasing on the eye. To those of us who aren’t watch makers, the improvement seen in the Mikrogirder 2000 represents a huge jump in a watch’s ability to maintain accurate time and keep its internal parts running smoothly. By scrapping the pendulum concept for a new vibrating linear oscillator, the Mikrogirder  is capable of pulsing over 7,200,000 beats per hour in an unrelenting effort to keep you on time. On the outside, the Mikrogirder 2000 distinguishes itself with a case design set at an angle to its base along with its crown and chronograph buttons placed at its head, which is reminiscent of old-school hand timers. TAG Heuer also cut away a piece of the black dial to expose the small oscillator system giving you a chance to keep an eye on just how hard your watch is working for you.
