Wu-Tang Clan x Casio G-Shock DW-6900FSWTC-1GJCU Watch

The “Wu” is strong in this one. Aside from celebrating its own 30th anniversary, Casio G-Shock will assist in another anniversary celebration, that of the Wu-Tang Clan‘s. Hailed from Staten Island, the “forgotten borough” of New York City, 20 years ago, the nine MCs cleverly infused current events, social messages, along with their love of kung-fu movies, and created a persona known as Wu-Tang Clan. Even though its origin is now part urban myth and part hip-hop lore, the group’s messages are constant to those from 1993, something that G-Shock design team retained by the selection of DW-6900 edition as the base, a model which originated from the early 1990s. Next, the application of Wu-Tang’s signature black and yellow colors, along with a Wu-Tang “W” logo as the backdrop for the EL backlight.

The Wu-Tang Clan x Casio G-Shock DW-6900FSWTC-1GJCU Watch, a limited edition marking Wu-Tang Clan’s 20th anniversary, will be available at select Casio G-Shock retail locations starting on Monday, October 15th.
