If “vintage bright” is ever a viable phrase, adidas Originals has translated that into its footwear for the simplified and grown A.039 Blue Collection this season. Giving worn-in shades of cream and off-white a cobalt jolt, adidas Originals revisits its classic silhouettes such as the Superstar, the Samba, Nizza and Forum (with the latter two in a slightly rarer, low-top rendition), puts in soft leather and suede, color fades on toes and soles for a cozy aged touch, then adds in metal eyelets, two-tone blue rope laces, zipper details and large graphic prints on tongue for a contemporary spin. Reserved with a rebellious tinge, the collection is available alongside the apparel at adidas Originals.
