adidas Ultrastar XL

Run DMC could be attributed for the successful cross over of adidas from athletic brand to a lifestyle brand with street cred. The Ultrastar models, along with the Superstars, were worn on heavy rotation by the legendary rap group and they also popularized their original style by wearing the sneakers without shoe laces. Four new colorways of the Ultrastar XL will be launching soon in black/white, white/black, white/blue/yellow and white/red combinations. In case you have not figured it out yet, the XL refers to the extra large three stripes located on the side, commanding more attention. The classic trefoil logos can be found on the heel and tongue and fatlaces are packaged together, referring back to its b-boy roots. atmos is currently taking pre-orders and these are scheduled to drop early this month.
