Careful observers will note that while most footwear labels are embarking on casual, contemporary design route, the trio at Gourmet are doing just the opposite with introduction of more technically function footwear, like the new Dignam. Filling as an in-between for running shoes and causal footwear, the inclusive gaiter like upper allows wear to tread across winter slush and spring puddle. Zip down the rip-stop nylon, an all mesh construct permits breathablility. The mesh upper also translates to light weight. So even with the addition of the nylon gaiter, the Dignam weighs no more than your average running sneakers. Available in black or grey as part of Gourmet Fall/Winter 2011 Collection.
