Creative Recreation – Winter Boots Collection

There have been a number of broad trends in boots this winter, including the breakout hit from Diemme (and it’s various spinoffs) and a number of offerings from the Ransom x adidas partnership (such the Timberland inspired Summit, and the full height Mesa). Those designs are closely modeled on classics; what about something that’s a bit outside the box? Creative Recreation been keeping feet dry and stylish this winter with a collection of interesting boots, including the Satoro, the Dio Mid, and the Costello. The collection takes design cues from the traditional: the classic LL Bean rubber lower of the Satoro, and the dock shoe construction of the Costello, for example. But Creative Rec adds some of their signature creativity too: the forefoot strap on the Dio Mid, and the varied use of high tech carbon, quilted, and rip-stop materials. Good boots are clearly a necessity this year; if you want to stay dry while keeping a sense of forward thinking design, this Creative Recreation collection is worth a look.
