As DJ Bobbito Garcia (aka Cool Bob) swung away at Jeff Mokos, Senior Designer at CONVERSE and the brand’s Design Director, Damion Silver, few select media outlets had the opportunity to see the new CONVERSE DEFCON and CONVERSE Pro Leather 2K11 first hand last evening at New York City’s Cedar Lake Studios. Updated for the new year, the CONVERSE DEFCON’s lightweight one piece vamp allows its wearer to soar above the opponents. Its CONVERSE Balls Technology and ORTHOLITE liner ensure hours of play without fatigue. The same with the CONVERSE Pro Leather 2K11, the contemporary countpart to the same pair which Dr. J made famous. Now with diamond-like grid mesh upper to lighten the load even more. Several honored guests also joined in the celebration later in the evening, including Team Converse athletes Chris Andersen of the Denver Nuggets, Lou Williams of the Philadelphia 76ers, and Kyle Korver of the Chicago Bulls. In the meantime, both CONVERSE DEFCON and CONVERSE Pro Leather 2K11 will be available in the coming weeks at CONVERSE retailers across the globe.
