NIKEiD – Nike Running Shield Collection

In an old Tiger Woods commercial, the golfer lists the various ways in which he can relax during a rainy day before the camera pans to Tiger practicing his swing outside in a driving downpour, at which point he intones “There are no rainy days.” It’s a statement that can readily apply to any dedicated runner, which is the kind of athlete Nike had in mind in releasing the Shield Collection. Now Nike is going a step further and giving those jogging enthusiasts the opportunity to customize their own “Shield” running shoes by putting the LunarGlide+ 3 and Free Run 2 up on NIKEiD, both featuring special water-resistant uppers. Remember, there are no rainy days. Nor likely at least one or two color combinations you won’t find to your liking.
