Future Sole Finals – Carmelo Anthony Signature Shoe & T-Shirt Designs

This year’s Future Sole competition involved four categories in which students presented their best design concepts: a Jordan Brand signature shoe for Carmelo Anthony using New York as an inspiration, a Jordan T-shirt design inspired again by Carmelo and New York, a Converse signature shoe for J.J. Barea, and a Nike Basketball shoe built for a power forward. Judging the entries was a panel of experts that included Sandy Bodecker, Vice President of Nike Action Sports; Justin Taylor, Jordan Brand Footwear Designer; and Leo Chang, Nike Basketball Footwear Design Director. The competition was tough, but the pool of entrants was eventually narrowed down to two finalists for each category.
