KAWS x IKEPOD Horizon Watch

Long associated with industrial designer wunderkind Marc Newson, watch maker IKEPOD is getting ready to launch its 2012 edition Horizon watch but with an interesting disposition. In continuing its affiliation between art and timepiece, IKEPOD partnered with Brooklyn-base artist Brian Donnelly, better known to the world as KAWS, for the latest Horizon design.  Penned by KAWS specifically for IKEPOD, the new dial face is an amalgamation of KAWS signature works.  Measured at 44mm in diameter and machined out of a titanium block, the watch is driven by ETA 2892 movement with a retail price of US$ 14,000.  Limited in numbers, the watch will be available soon at Westime in Los Angeles and other IKEPOD retailers. via: Hodinkee
