Juxtposing the way we live today with its own 106 years old traditions, Rolls-Royce sought to improve upon its Phantom line of cars with the Rolls-Royce Phantom Series II. Unveiled to the legion of media and press attendees at this week’s Geneva Motor Show, the Rolls-Royce Phantom Series II, including the Extended Wheelbase variant seen here, utilized technical advancements found on competing flagship models. Now standard on all Phantom Series II model are adaptive LED headlamps for cornering and better illumination, updated infotainment system that includes state-of-the-art 3D mapping, 8.8-inch control center display with front, rear, plus a top-view camera to improve upon drive condition awareness, and better fuel efficiency thanks to a new 8-speed automatic gearbox. Technical upgrades aside, the luxury embellishments Rolls-Royce is known for, such as the Spirit of Ecstasy emblem and umbrella dispense, are all still in place. The new Rolls-Royce Phantom Series II – Extended Wheelbase will be available to potential customers at Rolls-Royce showrooms later this year.
