Nike LeBron 8 – LeBron James – 2011 All-Star Game “Attack From All Angles”

To capitalize the proximity of the 2011 NBA All-Star Game to Hollywood, Nike Basketball will offer 3 designs for Kevin Durant, LeBron James, and Kobe Bryant this weekend in Los Angeles, all of which will include graphics known as lenticular pattern. A lattice work of various images merged with a very thin lenticular film, the end product produces an effect where images morph when view at different angle. In reference to Tinsel Town and the fluidity of basketball game, the cohesive design concept, billed as “Attack From All Angles”, will be a head turner for gathered fans at Staples Center, much like the Christmas 2010 “Signal Your Color” collection. In Division East’s vivid royal blue, the Nike LeBron 8 includes all the features prescribed by LeBron James with one addition, the lenticular logo on the shoe’s tongue which transform from the ruby-eyed lion head to the word East.
