In response to the growth of high impact sports during the 1980s, adidas created the Softcell, a cushioning system optimal shock absorption yet responsive enough for basketball game or a quick run. Re-introduced last year as part of the MEGA Collection, adidas Originals enhanced the Softcell further to meet today’s needs. In this, the sophomore appearance of MEGA Collection, several new entries will be offer like the Softcell RL. Meant as Run Lite, the design is all but abbreviated as well except the Softcell unit.
