Parra x Kidrobot – Pierced

Kidrobot presents “Pierced,” a 10-inch vinyl figure by Parra inspired by the overwrought iconography of romance novels and featuring the Dutch artist’s signature bold colors and vaguely avian animal/human hybrids. The sculpture doesn’t have a front or a back and is intended to be viewed in the round, each angle seemingly telling a different story — one depicting a tender embrace, another revealing the man savagely piercing the neck of the woman. Limited to just 300 pieces and featuring Parra’s signature engraved on the bottom, “Pierced” will be available starting June 7th at Kidrobot stores and online, plus select retailers worldwide.
