Automatic timepiece has more or less stayed the same, and though there is nothing wrong with the current design, it begs the question of how a watch can be “revolutionized”. Opus Eleven by jeweler Harry Winston challenges this notion by producing a one-of-a-kind dial face that explodes and reconfigures to reveal a time every 60 minutes. It does sound complicated, well it actually is, a reason why the Opus Eleven timepiece is retailing at $250,000 a pop. Tastefully designed in white gold casing, the main dial shows the hour while the two pavilions on the side shows minutes on top and a beating large titanium wheel on the bottom.
