EA Sports x Nike Zoom KD III – EA Sports Special Edition | Available Now

As with most of his admirers and fellow basketball players, Kevin Durant is an avid gamer himself, all the more poignant for the NBA All-Star to create a special edition with video gamer publisher, EA Sports. Based on his signature Zoom KD III from Nike Basketball, Durant and designers from EA Sports re-imagined the footwear as something to be worn by Kevin Durant’s avatar in the gaming realm.  The result is a Zoom KD III with translucent outsole and pixelated upper in Durant’s team, the Oklahoma City Thunder, colorways.  Ahead of the 2011 NBA All-Star Game Weekend‘s official kickoff, Durant will make a special appearance in the Nike Store Santa Monica this evening at 6 pm PST, follow by the official release of this very limited edition.  Available exclusively at Nike Store Santa Monica.
