Luxury goods were never relegated to be available only for an exclusive few.  More often, it is the product’s pricing scheme that held the masses back from its attainability, a boundary that is eroding quite quickly in recent years with the onset of collaborations like that from EMPORIO ARMANI and Reebok.

Updated for the coming Spring and Summer 2011, the collaborative collection known as EA7 just received 2 new silhouettes for its footwear line, the EA7 ZigPump and EA7 ZigLace.  Suggested by its namesake,  both designs incorporated Reebok’s ZigTech, the zig-zag shaped outsole proven to both absorb and reclaim impact energies when the wearers’ feet hit the ground.  In stunning silver, the EA7 ZigPump aggregated 2 of Reebok’s most important innovations, the Pump and ZigTech, into one comprehensive footwear for practitioners of the active lifestyle.  Similar appointments, minus the Reebok Pump, are found in the women’s EA7 ZigLace, but with a silk white colorway and a 4mm thin inner lining for optimal comfort.  Both will heading for  select Reebok and EMPORIO ARMANI store locations in the coming weeks.
