Lexus LF-Gh Hybrid Concept

Intended as a concept only, though in its press release, luxury auto maker Lexus hinted that features shown on the LF-Gh Hybrid will resonate in other Lexus vehicles in the near future. Perhaps it was another way of saying “to be in production soon…”. Making its debut at the 2011 New York International Auto Show, the LF-Gh Hybrid Concept is a clear departure from the old notions we have on hybrid. Instead, Lexus Design Division started with a clean slate with a performance-centric chassis with a hybrid powerplant as added incentive. The rear-drive LF-Gh Hybrid is intended to be a testing platform and a showcase on what the future of hybrid will look like. See the B-Roll video and detailed images after the jump.
